1. Each day, students will start out on GREEN (even if you did not finish on green the day before).
2. If a student is not following the rules, they will get a warning and be moved to YELLOW. It will be noted in their planner that they were moved to yellow during the day because they received a warning for not following the rules.
3. If the student continues to misbehave and not follow the rules, they will turn to ORANGE. Orange means that the warning did not work and now the student needs to come up with a plan to get back on track.
*The student will need to fill out a form and show it to their parent(s) and the parent(s) will also be notified via e-mail or a telephone call. The student will bring the form back to school signed by their parent.
4. If the student continues to misbehave or does not follow another classroom rule, they will turn to RED. Red means that the warnings are still not working and the student needs to come up with a better plan to get back on track.
*The student will need to fill out a form and show it to their parent(s) and the STUDENT will also need to call their parent(s) and explain to them what has been going on in class that day with their behavior.
*If the student is moved down from green, they are able to work hard to correct the behavior and are able to move back up throughout the day.
*If the offense is severe enough, the student will meet with Mr. Howe and the two of them will come up with a plan.
