Computer Applications I and II are a must in this age of computers and digital technology. These semester courses cover topics on advanced applications of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Photoshop. Every effort is made to keep the courses practical so we cover areas that students can use during their high school years, as well as their adult life. This is an elective class for grades 9-12. Software and tools used in class are the Microsoft Office Suite 2016, Photoshop CS5, Premier Pro, Moodle, digital tools such as Prezi and Animoto and others as needed.
College credit can be earned in Computer Applications I for students in grades 10-12. The credits are earned through Riverland Community College for the course Intro to Computers.
