As the School Resource Officer or SRO as it is commonly referred to, I am a resource for parents, students, and staff. If at anytime you have questions or concerns about your child feel free to contact me to discuss the matter. Whether you’ve noticed something as simple as a slight change in behavior I would be more than happy to offer any assistance I can.
As the SRO I deal with the many legal issues that unfortunately come up far too often in our school systems today such as thefts, assaults, drug and alcohol violations to name a few. When these instances occur law enforcement reports are written and legal consequences may follow. I am not a disciplinarian. I do not assign detentions. I do not suspend your child from school. These are the responsibilities of the school district.
While serving as SRO my goal remains the same as it has since I began and that is to provide students with a legal figure which they can feel comfortable to talk to regarding any issues that come up in their life whether it be at home, at school, or in the community and to provide them the tools they can use to make good decisions in life.
