Welcome to the Academic Triathlon webpage! Academic Triathlon is an extra-curricular activity for 5-8th graders. We have meets once a month (December-April) after school and practices once a week. As with any triathlon, there are three events involved in Academic Triathlon: mind sprints, face-off, and PARTY in a box. Teams work together to accumulate points in all three areas and all the points are added together to determine team ranks.
Mrs. Klennert and Adam Anderson will be coaching grades 5-8 together this year. The “Challenger” team is made up of 5-6th graders, and “Cross-Trainer” team with 7th and 8th graders. All triathletes will practice together so we can learn from each other’s different ways of thinking.
