Bachelor’s degree in Special Education Learning Disabilities and Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Emphasis from Winona State University
Teaching Experiences:
This is my first year teaching and I look forward to a fun year!
I student taught at Lincoln K-8 School in Rochester, Minnesota in a 2nd grade classroom in the Spring of 2019.
I student taught at Skyview Elementary School in Oakdale, Minnesota in a resource room where I taught math, reading, and social skills in the Fall of 2018.
Family:
My mom Michelle, dad Scott, sisters Bethany and Megan, and brother Michael. We also have a dog Peanut and I have a fish named Nate.
I am from Cary, Illinois which is a northwest suburb of Chicago.
Hobbies/Interests:
I LOVE sports – my favorite is soccer and I’m a devoted fan of the US Women’s Soccer Team (back to back World Champions!!!!). I love Chicago Teams like the Blackhawks, Bears, Cubs, Fire, and Red Stars.
I love spending time with family and hanging out with friends.
I enjoy hiking and being outdoors.
I love to travel – I’ve been to a lot of states but never out of the country although I hope to soon.
I love music and was in band in 5th-12th grade. I played clarinet for a year and flute for 7 years. The most recent concerts I’ve been to are Carrie Underwood and the Jonas Brothers!
